Practice
Yoga, Mindfulness, Movement & Wellbeing
Facilitated yoga, mindfulness, movement and reflective experiences that support presence, connection and wellbeing.
The practice
My wellbeing practice brings together yoga, mindfulness, movement, reflective creativity and nature connection. It is rooted in both lived practice and professional study, and connects the personal experience of presence with learning, relationship and everyday life.
I am a lifelong practitioner of meditation, yoga, movement, silence and embodied enquiry, with spiritual formation beginning in childhood Hindu ashram practice and Swami Shivananda’s Universal Prayer. My journey has continued through retreat, contemplative learning and practice across countries, including a five-month silent retreat in India in 2025. My professional preparation includes 200-hour Multi-Style Yoga Teacher Training (Siddhi Yoga; Yoga Alliance), PawsB, Mindful Schools curriculum training, MindUP, Yogabeez children’s yoga, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy teacher training at Bangor’s Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, and International Baccalaureate wellbeing professional learning. My contemplative and embodied practice has been shaped by the spiritual traditions and darshan of Swami Shivananda ( Divine Life Society) Guru Vajradhara Tai Situpa (Palpung Monastery) and Sri Sri Sri Shivabalayogi Maharaj.
My Master of Education research explored literacy-aligned mindfulness and yoga. These perspectives also inform my MEtime in Nature Mandala work and facilitated experiences with individuals, groups and communities.
