Research, Practice Research & Meditative Enquiry

Creative, interdisciplinary and meditative inquiry connecting artistic practice, lived experience, learning and research.

The practice

Research is woven through my artistic, educational and meditative practice. I explore how presence, participation, creative expression, learning and place can shape personal experience and collective life. My enquiry draws on reflection, artistic making, educational research and collaboration.

My Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at the University of Nicosia included research relating to mindfulness, yoga and literacy. My Visiting Scholar involvement at Queen's University Belfast's School of Arts, English and Languages connects this continuing practice to interdisciplinary university enquiry. My practice-research includes the MEtime in Nature Mandala, which brings original photography, embodied attention, digital interaction and reflective making into dialogue. It also includes my long-running enquiry into oneness, the Amazing Ants' 'We Are All One' recognition, the evolving Resonant Remembrance practice and creative approaches to research in education, ecology and wellbeing. As a Visiting Scholar associated with Queen’s University Belfast’s School of Arts, English and Languages, Sonic Arts Research Centre and Performance Without Barriers, I connect artistic making and lived experience with interdisciplinary exchange. I welcome research partnerships, lectures, creative knowledge exchange and commissions that use practice as a way of investigating real questions. This work can involve universities, cultural organisations, communities and cross-disciplinary teams, with methods shaped around the context and collaborators.
